PODGORICA, 13 March 2018 – Ministry of Justice organized its sixteenth donor coordination meeting for justice affairs, supported by EURoL II, which was held on 13 March at the Centreville Hotel.
In addition to the representatives of the Ministry of Justice of Montenegro, the meeting was attended by the representatives of the Judicial Council, Supreme Court, Prosecutorial Council , Supreme State Prosecution Office and the Judicial Training Center.
Starting from the General Director Marijana Lakovic-Draskovic, all the Directors of Ministry of Justice and the Montenegrin Authorities provided information on their ongoing activities and potential needs for international cooperation in justice field.
The invitees included the following international organisations and embassies in Montenegro: EU Delegation to Montenegro, Council of Europe, UN, UNICEF, UNDP, OSCE, IPA projects representatives, Austrian Embassy, Norwegian Embassy, Italian Embassy, US Embassy, Sweden Embassy and the German Embassy; the attendees provided an overview of their cooperation within the Montenegro justice Institution.
The EURoL II Deputy Team Leader, Judge Benedetti, gave a brief overview of the EURoL II project activities and underlined the importance of such meetings, for sharing information and better supporting Montenegro.
